Education

Our recent education initiative has started the year off with several components. First, in conjunction with the State of Connecticut Office of Data and Education Program, our association held a seminar on the model energy code at our offices in Branford. Other classes, including an OSHA seminar are scheduled to be held at our local trade suppliers in the following months.

Second, several members of our association are working towards a national certification program called CGR or "Certified Graduate Remodeler". The education committee is working to bring the required classes to our local association. This will make professional certifications, such as CGR and CGB (Certified Graduate Builder) more accessible to our members.
